Emigrar é preciso
O que me aconteceu, com livro que não recordo, de autor francês de renome, foi uma premiére reclamante de um sonho que se moldava. Eu queria.
O engenho que estava ao alcance reclamava presença, se bem me lembro, numa universidade belga, loira e morena dos anos 70, que dava pelo nome de Lovaine-la-Neuf. Foi isto que disse ao meu Pai.
Para contextualizar o assunto, sou de Vas.Excias um rapaz de 46 anos. Ou seja, andei pelos 'abris' de pau feito e de coração aberto todos os dias. As musas tiveram algum merecimento por me cantarem a ode de um mundo bom, no qual eu tive que procurar sozinho a razão das coisas más que iam acontecendo.
Ia eu a dizer, então, que pretendi procurar paterno acordo para me baldar da Península estreita rumo ao Condado de Brugges.
O funcionário público impoluto quer me deu vida era de Torga um pouco e no mais arengava que se o homem sonha a obra é néscia. E a cara que ele fez quando me propus de partida ainda hoje a lembro em militar sentido.
Em longa e exasperante contenda, o que fica é a palavra 'não'. Não que eu a ouvisse, já que o fatela era demasiado esperto para mandar.
Mas emigrar é preciso. Portugal, desde sempre, soube comprar ou vender os seus activos humanos. É a hora de vender. Eu não consegui fugir. E vocês?

também pensei, uns bons anos mais tarde, ir para a Lovaina... Não pelo país (a Bélgica não me cativa) mas porque me diziam que lá é que estavam os bons cursos de ciências sociais. Ainda bem que não fui. Assim como assim, cá sempre me pude baldar às aulas da Nova, lá parecia mal... :)
